Raymond R. Vogel, Jr., 77, died November 19, 2025 at his Caribou residence. He was born in Paterson, NJ, November 21, 1947 the son of the late Raymond R. Vogel Sr. and Mae Edith (Geene) Vogel. Raymond was a high school graduate and then entered into the United States Air Force. He worked for many years in Caribou as a printer, operating a printing press. He was a member of the Caribou United Baptist Church, and of the Roostook County Car Club (RCCC). Ray also enjoyed bowling with friends, especially close friends Marcel and Nancy Bosse.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Bollmann and husband John of Newfoundland, NJ, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ernie Currie and wife Betty of Caribou, nieces and nephews, Casey Belyea and husband Gary of Caribou, Stephanie Skinner and husband Taylor of Caribou, Tammy Clark and husband Robert of Caribou, Scott Ketch and wife Michele of Auburn, Heidi LaMothe and husband Rick of Caribou, many great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sherrill A. Vogel in 2022, his parents, a brother-in-law, Max Ketch and sister-in-law, Betty Ketch.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6PM until 8PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 1PM at the Caribou United Baptist Church, 74 High Street, Caribou. Interment with military honors will be in the spring at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
