Troy Lagasse

Caribou, ME – Troy Lagasse, a beloved father, entrepreneur, automotive enthusiast, and lifelong resident of Caribou, Maine, passed away unexpectedly.
He was the dedicated owner of Troy's Transmission for many years, in addition to owning and operating several other local businesses, including the Sweden Street Laundromat. He was a well-known figure in the Caribou business community, valued for his mechanical skill, entrepreneurial spirit, and integrity. Troy was also a member of the local Knights of Columbus, Council No. 1870.
Troy was predeceased by his older brother, Kevin, and his parents, Rosaire "Peanut" and Barbara Lagasse.
Troy's true pride and joy were his two daughters, Grace Lagasse and Faith Lagasse, both of Caribou. He instilled in them a legacy of dedication and resourcefulness. He is also survived by his younger brother, Shawn Lagasse of Augusta, Maine, and leaves behind a wide network of extended family, friends, and business associates who will cherish his memory.
A public visitation will be held 5PM - 6PM Monday, November 24, 2025 at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home. A private funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
