Raymond Francis Winch

Raymond Francis Winch, born on July 19, 1945, in Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in Woodstock, Georgia. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Raymond leaves behind a legacy infused with love, kindness, and genuine generosity.

Raymond was a man defined by his gentle spirit and unwavering patience. Throughout his life, he cultivated strong bonds with family and friends, forging connections that only deepened with time. He was admired for his generosity and often found joy in uplifting those around him. He spent countless hours playing golf, a sport that brought him great joy, as well as following and watching all forms of athletics. His passions extended beyond the games; they embraced the very fabric of friendship, as he remained in touch with his friends throughout his illness, a testament to the deep connections he nurtured over the years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Winch, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with cherished memories. He took immense pride in his sons, Brian and Greg Stokes, who carry forward his values and spirit. Raymond's heart was further enriched by his role as a grandfather to Kylie, Kyndra, Tyler, and Katelyn Stokes, who were the light of his life. His love for them knew no bounds, and he made every effort to be an active presence, guiding them and providing unwavering support.

Raymond is also survived by his dear sister, Fran Vozar, and sister Lorraine Palvolgyi, alongside his brother-in-law, Frank Palvolgyi. Their shared memories and stories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him.

A visitation to honor Raymond's life will be held on February 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 1970 Eagle Drive, Woodstock, GA 30189.
