Rayna Jo-Lee Sloop, born June 29, 2008, passed away on December 5, 2025. She was deeply loved by her entire family and will be remembered for her sweetness, her gentle spirit, and the bright light she brought into every room she entered.
From a young age, Rayna had a natural warmth that drew people in. She was loving, silly, and always eager to make others smile. She cherished spending time helping her mother and carried a heart full of kindness, always hoping for the very best for everyone around her.
Though Rayna faced challenges and at times felt lost, she continued to show glimmers of hope, strength, and love. Her resilience, even in difficult moments, was a testament to her gentle but determined spirit.
Above all, Rayna longed to be close to her mother, Amy, whose presence meant everything to her. Their bond was one of deep love and devotion—a connection that shaped Rayna’s world.
Rayna will be deeply missed by her mother, Amy Harmon Sloop; her father, Chris Sloop; and her brothers, Crue, Noah, and Jonah. She is also cherished and remembered by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom held her close to their hearts.
Her life, though far too short, made a lasting impact on all who knew her. May her memory forever be a blessing.
Services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025.Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery, Cornelius.
