Reba Virginia Barnett Howell, 95, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2024. She was born in Monticello, Arkansas on July 31, 1929, to Ralph and Jessie Barnett. Loving mother to Connie Bull (Paul) of Benton, AR and Cecilia Walker (Dan) of Alexander, AR. She truly loved her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she always wanted her family around her. Her cherished grandchildren Travis Bull (Gina), Jennifer Hill (Jarred), Cody Walker (Casey) and Clayton Walker (Keirstien) were the highlights of her life along with her great grandchildren Dawson and Roman Bull, Layne Walker, Cason and Hattie Hill, and Ainsley, Paisley and Kynnedie Walker.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil M. Howell; her parents, Ralph and Jessie Barnett; her siblings, Louise Russell, Nadean Crawford and Donald Barnett. She is survived by her sister Kay Ozment (David) of Monticello, AR along with nieces Jane Harrison (Ben), Shana Wilson (Stacy), Christy Roberts (Bobby), and nephew Shawn Wright (Jana), nieces Sandra Combs (Larry) of Alexander, AR and Judy Jenkins of Monroe, LA.
In honor of Reba’s life, a visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. and a memorial service will follow from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 10200 AR-5, Alexander, AR.
Reba may have left this earth, but she will never leave our hearts.
