Mrs. Rebecca Denise Alexander was born December 20, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, to the union of Lewis Grant and Eileen Bonner. This sweet life came to an end on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Rebecca was educated in Rockford, Illinois and attended Guilford High School.
Rebecca married the love of her life Troy Jackson Alexander, and they have enjoyed over 10 years of Love and Marriage.
She was employed as a technician for ProAmpac for over 27 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, crafting, playing cards, shopping, dancing, and family get-togethers.
Rebecca was preceded in death by grandmother, Sittie Byrd Buchanan, sister, Cynthia Buchanan, Sherry Jones, son, Rufus Scott, and Antonio Matlouck.
Rebecca leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Troy Alexander, daughters, LaCreshia, Shatekwa Grant, Bridgett Matlouck, step-daughter, Alyssa Marshall, bonus daughter, Angelina Baker, son, James (Diamond) Matlouck, step-son, Latroy Bowan, bonus son, Antonio Lewis, grandchildren, Keontez, Brianna, KeAysia, De’Quan, Christopher, Ty’Teiana, Tariona, De’Niya, Diamond, Asiana, Major, Prince, siblings, Lamont (Shanetha) Watson and Terry Williams, mother-in-law, Georgie Pearl and a host of other relatives and friends.
