Rebecca L. Corgan, 57, of Chenango Forks, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at home. She was born in Edina, MN, to Theresa Chase. She met her soulmate and husband, Jimmy, 45 years ago and started the family that Becky so lovingly portrayed on her Facebook page. She was a dedicated Director of Housekeeping at United Methodist Homes, where she had many beautiful friends. She took great pride in her work and loved the residents and her housekeepers. In life, Becky was most proud of being a mother and grandmother. She was resilient and giving, and she was the pillar of strength and guidance for her daughters. Her grandchildren will always remember her as the fun and loving spirit that captured everything it meant to be a grandmother. She loved the holidays and hosting her family for Sunday meals and parties. She enjoyed concerts and theater and taking pictures of her grandkids.
Becky was predeceased by her mother, Theresa Chase; her beloved Aunt Gwen; and Uncle Mike. She is survived by her husband, James Corgan; her daughters, Jennifer (and Anthony) Chase, Kelly Corgan, Ashley (and Andrew) Ayers, and Chelsee Corgan. Her cherished grandchildren are Jeremiah, Julianna, Adriana, Tessa, Emma, and Kyler. Her dear aunt Carolyn "Boots" (and Michael) Lamaitis. She is also survived by a large, loving extended family, as she was a cousin, sister, and aunt to many. She will be greatly missed and remembered as the delicate flower she was.
Services will be Private with Savage-Demarco Funeral Service, 338-344 Conklin Ave, Binghamton. The family will welcome friends from 3-4pm Monday January 29 at SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service 338-344 Conklin Ave Binghamton, NY 13903 Express condolences online at www.SavageFS.com. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to United Methodist Homes in her name. My condolences go out to Becky´s Family! We are all still in shock of her passing, it just doesn´t seem real. I am always waiting to see Becky in The hall way so I say Becky and I will see her with the Big Smile Yesss ,

I send my condolences to all of Becky's family. She will be missed! She was a good listener, storyteller, always had laughs together! But when it came to work, she was serious. Like she said, with alot we all went through, "We'll get through this!"

What a shock! So unexpected! We shared some good times, sad times, & great laughs! You always said during the pandemic "We'll get through this".....and we did! When we had to really clean one unit so we could move residents there (and it was hard work & many residents), you said then "We'll get through this.....and we did! Well, the loss of you was devastating but...."We'll get through this".....and we are! It's hard and will take time but.... "We will get through this"!

Becky wanted me to clean apartment and everything look amazing but I forgot a few things I called Becky on the walkie hey Becky can you come up to the apartment to see what she think Becky said Bruce this is incredible amazing Job I was like it´s not good she said stop putting your self down why did you say it wasn´t good I said I miss 3 things Becky said what I said there´s a straw raper in the peek hole in the door Becky said huh!!! No there isn´t I was like look in the hole she said oh my god Bruce how did you know your good she started laughing
