Rebecca Jayne Fowler was born on July 8, 1948 to Robert and Olivene Cummings in Fort Dodge, Iowa and passed away surrounded by those she loved at herhome in Sherwood, Or. on March 28, 2012. Rebecca moved to So. California in 1955. She met her loving husband Joel in September of 1966. They were married in December 1966. Rebecca and Joel, moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 1980, finally settling in Sherwood in 1998. Rebecca worked many years for Fred Meyers and In her final years she worked at Sherwood Safeway in the service deli. Her work ethics were impecable. Becky took great pride in anything she was doing. Becky Loved babies, animals, flowers, birds and was a collector of many treasures. One of Becky's greastest love of all, though, was caring for her husband, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was deeply and fiercely devoted to her friends and family. She was a exceptional wife, mother, sister, daughter ,grandmother, aunt and friend. She sparkled from her head down to her toes with joy. She had a deep compassion and concern for those around her and was loved by all who knew her brief or long she always left a lasting impression and truly made a difference in everyones life. Becky is survived by her husband of 45 years Joel Fowler Sr , daughter Jennifer Tucker (Bruce), daughter Julee Spalinger (Tom), son Joel Fowler Jr. (Linda) Grandchildren Blake Tucker, Brittney Tucker, Andrew Fowler, Hailey Fowler, Emmalee Spalinger, Jacob Spalinger and her Great Grand Children Ferris Tucker, Aubrey Penrose and Milo Tucker. She is also surrived by her sister Sarah Grant and Lawrence Cummings The family wishes to thank the ALS Society of Portland and Providence hospice group and for all those who have lifted our family in prayer and supported us though our journey with ALS, we would also like to thank Woodhaven church and ecspecially pastor Brad, Dick DeRover and Vickie and Bob Nelson.
