Rebecca Ann Hernandez, 49, of Ingram, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025, in Fredericksburg. Her family and friends are heartbroken by her sudden loss and will forever cherish the love and kindness she shared so freely.

Rebecca was born in Ohio to William and Connie Rohde. She went on to graduate from Schreiner University, earning a master's degree in Accounting and Business with a minor in Psychology-an accomplishment that made her family incredibly proud. With her brilliant mind and caring nature, Rebecca dedicated her career to serving others, working as an accountant for various companies, including a probate attorney whom she deeply respected.

Nearly three decades ago, Rebecca married the love of her life, Alex Hernandez, in her home state of Ohio. Their bond was one built on unwavering devotion, laughter, and a profound sense of partnership. Together, they made their home in Ingram, Texas, where they lovingly raised their son, Michael, who was truly the light of her life.

Rebecca had a gift for making a house feel like a home. Her husband and son lovingly shared that she was an amazing cook, and nothing brought her more joy than preparing meals and baking desserts for the people she loved. Whether it was a favorite family recipe or a new sweet treat she wanted to try, Rebecca poured her heart into every dish, creating moments and memories her family will forever treasure.

Outside of her professional life, Rebecca found joy in the simple and beautiful parts of living. She had a remarkable talent for gardening, creating a yard filled with color, life, and peace-a reflection of her nurturing soul. She also adored animals and always had pets to care for, but her beloved Chihuahua, Chula, held a special place in her heart. Knowing Chula greeted her in Heaven brings comfort to those who loved her.

Rebecca is survived by her devoted husband, Alex Hernandez; her cherished son, Michael Hernandez; her siblings, Ken Rohde (Lauren) and Krista Rohde; and her brother-in-law, Johnny Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Connie Rohde.

Rebecca will be remembered for her gentle heart, her beautiful smile, and the love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched simply by being herself.
