Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Hickerson, 44, of Hixson, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 after an extended battle with Diabetes and the complications thereof. Rebecca was a member of North Hamilton Church of Christ and a retiree of Tennessee Valley Authority. She was involved in her community, giving her time and talent to support the work of Chattanooga Christian School and the Hidden Harbor Neighborhood Association. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl S. Castleberry, (Chattanooga, TN). grandparents, Dorothy and Lennie Castleberry, (Wildwood, GA). Gladys and Jasper E. Hill (Trenton, GA). She is survived by her husband, Kenneth F. Hickerson, children, Katie Hickerson and Noah Hickerson, mother, Barbara Castleberry, all of Hixson; sisters, Kathy L. Castleberry, Chattanooga; Carldine Pell (Steven Pell, Jr.) Hixson; niece, Carlie-Ann Pell and nephew, Aiden Pell, Hixson, TN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister David B. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West with Chuck Keef, Jeff Hill, Jim Hill, Danny Rowe, Phillip Hooton and Travis Friddell serving as pallbearers. Aiden Pell will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 P.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Home.
