Rebecca "Becky" Ruth Miller Hunt, age 78, passed away Monday September 22, 2025 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

The Bowling Green native was the daughter of the late John Vernon Miller and Dora Skillern Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Robert Hornal as well as her nine brothers and sisters; Harold Miller, Carlyle Miller, Leo Miller, Mary Alice Miller, Joyce 'Dot' Smith, Eardene West, Charlie Miller, Mason Miller, and Estelle Orange.

Becky loved her garden and tending to her plants and herbs. In her high school Home-Economics class, she earned the nickname 'Becky-Homecky' for her fantastic cooking abilities. She was known for her red velvet cake, yeast rolls, and beef stroganoff. Becky was also very talented; she played the piano and the accordion. Long drives and road trips were often something she enjoyed son long as she didn't have to spend the night.

Becky is survived by her husband, Gary A. Hunt, sons, James Blake Hornal (Tara Walker), John Bradley Hornal, Matthew Alan Hunt (Aprille), and Ben Travis Hunt (Debbie), daughters, Jennie Rebecca Eakles (Todd) and Katie Hunt, one sister, Donna Palmer (Jim), two brothers, Thomas Miller (Norma) and Paul Miller (Lucille). Seven grandchildren; Kristopher, Hayden, Caleb, Kaytlyn, Mayme (Jordan), Madi, Morgan (Austin), as well as several extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be Sunday September 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM and Monday September 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM followed by burial in Still Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donation to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or the Alzheimer's Association.
