Mr. Joe Freeman, age 71 of Franklin, KY, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 11:16 am at his residence.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2025 and from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co, KY.
Joe was born February 8, 1954 to the late Porter Freeman and the late Goldie (May) Freeman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn “Dink” Freeman.
He is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Kathy Freeman; a daughter, Ashley Jo Brindley (Casey) of Rockfield, KY; a granddaughter, Hadley Jo Brindley; 5 brothers, Larry Freeman (Patty), Andy Freeman (Ona Lea), Mark Freeman (Barbara), Skip Freeman (Sonya) all of Franklin, KY and Randy Freeman (Stacy) of New York; many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School class of 1973. He employed at the Frosty Freeze for over 50 years, drove a school bus for the Simpson County School System for 44 years, he also mowed yards and painted for the public.
Joe was an avid reader, Green Bay Packers fan and UK Basketball fan.
In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be made to the Hadley Jo Foundation, c/o Ashley Jo Brindley, P.O. Box 25, Rockfield, KY 42274. Envelopes will be provided at the Funeral Home.
