Goshen - Rebecca Louise Kilmer, 74, passed away peacefully at Goshen Hospital.
She was born on January 17, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, to Joann (Yoder) Cole Kilmer and Orvin Kilmer. They preceded her in death.
Rebecca worked for 17 years in customer service at Walmart, where she served in various roles. She was a member of AARP and American Red Cross. A talented and creative person, Rebecca enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and drawing. She often made gifts for friends and family. She was a long-time member of the Unity Church of Peace in South Bend.
She is survived by her children, James (Heather) W. Davis, Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Misty Davis, Cassopolis, Michigan; Wendy Davis, Three Rivers, Michigan; and her adopted son, Dean Kilmer. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Westly Davis, Merlin Colasasso, Luminita Colasasso, and Aiden Davis; and her brothers, Leon (Laurel) Kilmer, Illinois, Norvin Kilmer, Middlebury; as well as many nephews and nieces.
Rebecca’s ashes will be scattered at Greencroft. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or the Arbor Day Society.
