It was a pleasure and an honor to know Rebecca and a privilege for Jay to share a spot on the wall at the Gale Center Art Contest. Her paintings are beautiful and unique. When I had the fortune of attending lessons she taught at Church, I always learned new insights into the Scriptures. We will miss her. Dayle & Jay Sant

My beloved sister Rebecca, was an organizer and a perfectionist. Relationships were so important to her. She planned activities to keep extended family involved and together; whether it was hosting a Christmas Open House for the multitude of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and their friends, or carrying out to the last detail, the Parade of Trees Christmas tree honoring our mother, with everyone right down to the youngest child painting a wooden "paper" doll to hang on the tree, whatever she did was done beautifully. Five of my daughters wore the gorgeous designer wedding gowns that their Aunt Becky spent hours and hours fashioning for them--and then on top of that, she created their unique and lovely bridal flowers. When I asked her to illustrate the Christmas book I wrote about the wooden Christmas dolls that our great-grandfather Thomas Cottam made for the girls in early St. George, she researched historical styles and then used our family members as models to create beautiful watercolor pictures. How we all love Rebecca. How grateful we are that we will be an eternal family. She is not only my sister, but my dear, dear friend. Mary Carr Ward

Heartfelt sympathies to all in the Lewis family. I loved Rebecca! What a blessing to know she lived a righteous and service-oriented life. Wishing special blessings go to Cecily and Sarah at this difficult time. We have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Becky was my roommate at BYU our freshman and sophomore years. We made contact again about five years ago or so and it's been delightful to get caught up with her life. I wish my heartfelt condolences to her husband and family. She was a wonderful soul!
