Rebecca Lofton Obituary
Lansing, Michigan
Passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the age of 59. Born December 16, 1966 to Frederick and Edith (Lee) Councilman in Mason, Michigan. Rebecca attended Eaton Rapids High School graduation in the class of 1983. She later went on to work in housekeeping. Rebecca enjoyed playing cards and especially enjoyed playing Uno and Rummy Royal with the grandkids. She watched cooking shows and Storage Wars which were her favorites. Rebecca would crochet beautiful blankets and other keepsakes that her family will be able to treasure forever. She could best be described as funny, bubbly and stubborn. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and Chihuahua Shih tzu Pomeranian mix, Sady. Rebecca was loved dearly and will be missed by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her parents, infant brother, Joey Councilman and her baby son, Tommy Lofton II.
Surviving are her daughter, Kellie Lofton; adopted daughter, Angel Naranjo; sisters, Sheila Bloom, Christiana (Mark) Wells, Danielle (Josh) Gaerte, Imy (Shawn) Wiers, Nikki (Shawn) Rickard; as well as many nieces and nephews.
