Rebecca Moody Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 18, 2025.
Rebecca Lightfoot Moody ObituaryRebecca Lynne Moody was born on April 16th, 1953, in Waco, Texas and passed into eternity with her Savior on February 8th, 2025.
Becky was married to Lloyd Moody for nearly 52 years. He loved her very dearly. They had two children together, Lloyd Jr. and Glendol.
Becky lived a life full of music, story-telling, art, and cooking. Her siblings remember her ability to play the piano and sing beautifully. Her nieces and nephews loved to watch her draw, she could draw stunning ladies in dresses that would blow them away. She had a talent of making delicious meals for anyone who came into her home. If you joined her in her living room, you would be laughing until your sides hurt at her stories.
Becky loved Jesus Christ with all her heart. When she sang, she sang for Him. Lloyd and Becky believe the Lord guided them through very hard and very happy years. Her family is happy to know she is resting with her Savior who loved her so.
Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Ann Lightfoot. She is survived by her father, Glendol Lee Lightfoot; her loving husband, Lloyd Moody; her children Lloyd Jr. (Linda) Moody, Glendol Moody; grandchildren, Daniel (Astrid) Moody and Lucas Moody; her younger sister Glenda (Mike) Paddock; her younger brothers Garry (Charlene) Lightfoot, Mark (Sally) Lightfoot, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her bright presence dearly.
"But when this perishable will have put on imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?"
