Rebecca C. Nelson
Thomaston - Rebecca C. Nelson, 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Arthur I. Nelson.
Rebecca was born in Waterbury on January 26, 1939, daughter of the late John Chipman and Phyllis Oldenwald Chipman Packer. Raised in Thomaston, CT, Rebecca attended local schools, graduated from Thomaston High School. She retired from IBM and was a member of St Peter's Trinty Churh and the Thomaston Senior Center. Rebecca loved decorating her colonial home for the holidays, and entertaining family and friends.
Predeceased by her sisters, Marcia Chipman and Marilyn Thulin.
She leaves her son, Kristofer Nelson; her grandson, Jacob Nelson, sister in law, Alice Nelson and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Trinity Church, 160 Main St., Thomaston, with burial following in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston.
