Rebecca Ann Rhodes

Rebecca Ann Griffith Rhodes, 73, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Jacksonville, Alabama, on April 18, 1951, the daughter of the late R.C. Griffith and Margaret Minter. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Davis Rhodes, in 2015, and her son, Kenneth Ray Hampton, in 2012; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy and Eva Lyles, Timmy Lyles, Glenn Moore, and Cooter Moore.

Survivors include her daughters, LaRhonda Ann Rhodes and her husband Chandler Mallette of Resaca; Shelba Tavares of Blairsville, GA; son, Christopher Dale Rhodes of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Cage (Dina) Ray, Michaela Christine Baldwin, Diane Henderson, Rebecca (Dakota) Henderson, Cayden (Savannah) Ray, Labron Lewicki, Tia Lewicki; Charlie Ray, Skyla Ray, and Michael Dyer; great-grandchildren, Chandler Pendergrass, Kristopher Pendergrass, Davis (Elizabeth) Abadio; Sisters, Gail Gallman and Joyce (Steve) Howard; brother Gary (Doris) Griffith; Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Diane Lyles, Rebecca Moore, Anna Moore, Rogerr and Elaine Lyles, and Idema and Howard Strickland.

A service to celebrate Rebecca Ann Griffith Rhodes's life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home chapel, with Timmy Lyles officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 13, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
