Rebecca A. Silver (née King), born November 22, 1986, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Ohio. She was a remarkable woman whose life was marked by devotion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Rebecca was an incredibly dedicated nurse whose career was defined by service and compassion. Earning her Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University and subsequently becoming a Registered Nurse through Columbus State, she took immense pride in her nursing accomplishments. Rebecca’s education at Ohio State was a source of personal joy and passion. Described by those who knew her as bright and strong-willed, she embraced learning wholeheartedly and carried that enthusiasm throughout her life. Her genuine care for others was the hallmark of her life’s work.

Beyond her nursing career, Rebecca was a talented entrepreneur and artist. She owned and operated Silver Tulips, a business where she crafted exquisite macrame creations. Her work was beloved by many; she built a large following and shared her art at numerous trade shows, displaying her skill and creativity. From an early age, Rebecca showed remarkable talent in both art and sports, excelling in soccer and showcasing her abilities on many teams, some of which were lovingly coached by her parents.

She was a woman who lit up every room she entered with her infectious laughter and radiant smile. Down-to-earth, welcoming, and kind, Rebecca took an active interest in the lives of her family members and friends, always offering support and kindness. Her strength was fierce, her heart generous, and her spirit indomitable.

Rebecca was the beloved wife of Tom Silver, whom she met during their time at Ohio State. Their 20 years together were a testament to a perfect partnership filled with love and mutual respect. As a mother, Rebecca’s unconditional love for her children, Max and Violet, was boundless. Her role as a mother was one of her proudest accomplishments.

She was also a cherished daughter to Jeff and Kathy, and deeply loved sister to Jen (and brother-in-law Erik) and Jeff (and sister-in-law Kayla). Her extended family included numerous nieces and nephews — Annabelle, Ryder, Luke, Vivienne, Nelson, Chloe, Maddie, and Parker — all of whom she adored. Rebecca shared a close bond with her in-laws, Steve and Kim, as well as sister-in-law Stephanie and brother-in-law Jon, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever remember her warmth and generosity.

Rebecca’s legacy is also carried forward through the memories of those who have preceded her: her father Jeff, grandparents Jim, Mary, Nelson, and Sara, grandmother-in-law Virginia, and grandfathers-in-law Tom and Eugene, along with many other aunts and uncles who are fondly remembered.

She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and above all, a loving mother and devoted wife. Her passion for nursing, her artistry in macrame, and her vibrant presence touched countless lives.

Rebecca A. Silver’s extraordinary life will be dearly missed, yet she will always be lovingly remembered. Her strength, fierce devotion to family, boundless kindness, and radiant spirit remain an enduring inspiration to all who knew her.
