Rebecca (Becky) Ruth Pickett Stant
September 8, 1959-October 1, 2025
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend lost her fight against cancer on October 1, 2025. Becky's battle with cancer was fought courageously and with a positive attitude. She was impressive to the end.
Becky followed her own path in life. She was funny, smart and had a big heart. She was a self-proclaimed hippie. She said she was proud to be a hippie. It meant love and acceptance to her. She loved colorful clothes, the peace sign, tie-dye, the color red, homemade spaghetti, and Rod Stewart.
I loved that she didn't care what other people thought, she followed her heart. She was a kind, beautiful human. She always tried to reach for the positive even when times were tough.
She liked spending time with family and friends. Her most joyful times were spent with her son, his wife and her grandchildren.
Becky will be dearly missed by those whose path she crossed in her lifetime.
She is preceded in death by her brother James Pickett, and her parents Marj Martines and James D. Pickett. She is survived by her son Mark Pickett, and her two grandchildren, Elliott and Emme.
The family will hold a private service to celebrate Becky's life.
