Rebecca Ann Staton "Becky", a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on November 9, 2025, at her residence in the presence of her cherished family. Born on November 1, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, Becky was the treasured daughter of Robert Earl Cooper and Maxine Marie Ross.

Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a passion for adventure. Married to her devoted husband, Jack, Becky often reflected on her proudest accomplishment of—landing him. Their partnership blossomed as they worked together resetting grocery stores and pharmacies.  She also enjoyed working at stockton's factory with her mother and sister.  She would bring home the latest fashion and would dress everyone in matching clothes.

Becky was not just a hard worker; she was a true outdoor enthusiast. She loved her roses, watching her hummingbirds, and collecting her frogs.  Though her spirit thrived in the joy of fishing with Jack, where she made lasting memories participating in bass tournaments. Her passion for fishing was underscored by her membership in the CAST and BASS organizations, where she found camaraderie among fellow enthusiasts and was known as "Catfish Becky" by many.  She revelled in the thrill of each catch.

Her loving nature extended to her culinary talents as well. Her famous strawberry banana cheesecake, deviled eggs, and homemade beef jerky became staples at family gatherings and social events, leaving a delicious mark on the hearts and palates of everyone who has the pleasure of indulging.

Becky will be remembered not just for her achievements but for her loving personality that warmed the hearts of those around her. She embraced every moment with grace and kindness, forming deep connections with friends and family alike.

Becky is survived by her husband, Jack Staton; children, James Lemons of Point, Larry Lemons and wife, Melanie of Point, Marie Harris and husband, John of Farmers Branch, Sherry Malone of Point; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Johnathan, Justina, Heather, Joe, Ginger, Jessie; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Earline Kubicek of Hickory Creek and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Maxine Cooper; son, Donnie Lemons; sister, Sue Reynolds.

Though we mourn the physical absence of Becky, her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a family that she adored and who will carry her memory forward, ensuring that the joy she brought into the world echoes through generations to come.
