Rebecca Louise Trogdon Joyce

Rebecca Louise Trogdon Joyce, 84, of Randleman passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 13, 1941 in Randleman, NC to Elwood Parrish Trogdon and Margaret White Trogdon.

Louise was a loving and giving wife, mother, and friend. She had many passions including going to church, bowling, square dancing, and golfing. Louise loved to crochet and was known for her beautiful blankets that she would donate.

Louise is survived by her son, Dohn Alan Joyce (Christine) of Burlington; grandchildren, Christoffer Joyce and Alaina Joyce; brothers, Fred Trogdon of Randleman, Harrell Trogdon of Randleman, Darrell Trogdon of Randleman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Oral Dee Joyce; son, Randal Scott Joyce; and brother, Gene Trogdon.

A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park with Pastor Steve Bergkamp officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Louise’s name be sent to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
