Services for Rebekah Ann Durham, 49, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Temple Bible Church with Chad Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery in Center, Texas.
Rebekah Durham died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.
Rebekah was born on November 09, 1973 to Stephen Holmes and Nancy Hufferd in Fall River Mills, CA. She was the eldest of the siblings and grew up in Aurora, Colorado. While in school she was in the marching band and played the violin. She was an avid reader and graduated from Gateway High School in Colorado, Rebekah then went on and pursued her dream and received a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education. She met her husband in the spring of 1993 during her freshman year at college and moved in 1996 to Texas. Rebekah worked very hard to be who she was and paved the way to make a difference for future kids. She enjoyed historical things, soccer, chinese food dates, bible study groups and developing relationships, she liked to collect bells, and to look and smell flowers & watch hummingbirds.
She is preceded in death by her mother.
Rebekah is survived by her husband, Mark Durham; three sons, Reuben Durham, Joel Durham, and Luke Durham; one daughter, Naomi Durham; and one sister, Sarah Roselund.

I went to JBU with Rebekah and Mark. I keep thinking of times we and many others would go sit around a campfire at the top of a cliff and cook supper, watch the sunset, and sing praise choruses to the Lord together. Maybe we will get to do it again on the New Earth! Last time I saw Rebekah and Mark is when they visited us - wow all of our kids were young then. Praying for you, Mark, and for your family.

I attended JBU with Rebekah and was also an education major with her. She had such a soft-hearted spirit about her and a beautiful soul. My prayers and condolences to Mark and family.
