Reda First, (nee Dissin), beloved wife of the late E. David First, cherished mother of Michael (Leslee Snyder), Robert, and Larry (Marie First), and sister of the late Arlene Wartenberg (Herbert), passed away at age 93 on September 10, 2024, five years to the day of the passing of David on September 10, 2019. Reda is also survived by four grandchildren: Alison, Marlene, Emily, and Alex.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service on Friday, September 13, 12:30 p.m., at Goldsteins’ Broad Street, 6410 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. The family will be receiving condolences following the interment at the home of Patti and Alvin First, 1228 Imperial Road, Rydal, PA with a Mincha service at 4:00 p.m. The family will continue to receive condolences at Patti and Alvin’s from Sunday, September 15, through Wednesday, September 18, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The family will participate in Beth Sholom evening minyanim via Zoom.
