Reece Vernon Lemar II (Little Vernon), 49 of Grays Knob, KY entered his Heavenly home on Saturday, December 28, 2024. He was born on February 3, 1975, in Harlan, KY being the firstborn son of Reece Vernon Lemar and Charlene Johnson Lemar. He was the owner and operator of Vernon Lemar trucking, a farmer, a servant of the Lord, and a member of Blackmont Holiness Church.
He is preceded in death by, grandparents, Reece and Willene Lemar, and Jim and China Johnson, nephew, Maverick Turner, Uncle Joe Johnson. Father-in-law, Eddie Sargent, and his best friend, Daniel Sizemore.
Other than his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Tina Lemar and daughter, Taylor Lemar. His brothers, Justin Lemar, Josh (Brandi) Lemar; his sisters, Kristen (Jeffrey) Miller, Hope (Dennis) Bray. Sisters in law, Ashley Lemar and Brittany (Chris) Bruce; his mother-in-law, Billie Sargent. He is also a beloved uncle to Connor, Riley, Kaitlyn, Sawyer, Addison, Ryder, Bella, Madilynn, Luke, Eli, Liam, Tucker, Evander, Crew, Levi, and Lilly. His aunts and uncles, John and Ina Robbins, Kimberly and Josh Howard, Rufus and Diane Collett; his cousins, Shaunnah, Jonathan, Chase, Aaron, Lisa, Crystal and Robert with a host of relatives, friends and church family also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 4, 2025, at 1130AM at the Blackmont Holiness Church in Blackmont, KY with the Rev. Steven Skidmore and the Rev. Richard Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery of Keith, Ky with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will Thursday January 2, 2025, from 5-8PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home and visitation will also be held on Friday January 3, 2025, after 5PM at the Blackmont Holiness Church.
