Reed Taylor Plumb Obituary

Mar 2, 2026

Reed Taylor Plumb, 38, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Reed graduated from high school in 2004. He developed a deep passion for the culinary arts, a love he cherished and proudly shared with his son, William. Reed was known for his dedication to his family and the joy he found in cooking and bringing people together around the table.

Reed is survived by his wife, Angelica Lynn Plumb; his son, Reed William Plumb; and his daughter, Charlotte Amber Plumb. He is also survived by his mother, Renee Lynn Barlett, MD; his brother, Andrew Reisman; and his sister, Alexandra Lynn Carlton and her husband, Will Carlton.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Aaron Zehner.

Reed is also survived by his maternal uncles: Jay Plumb and his wife Sara Zucker; Craig Plumb and his wife Laurie; and Curtis Plumb and his wife Brenda. In addition, he leaves behind a longtime family friend, Thelma "Bunnye" Craig, who fondly remembered taking Reed's cowboy boots away from him as a toddler after he used them to kick other children-an early story that remained a source of humor and affection within the family.

Reed will be remembered for his love of family, his culinary talents, and the lasting memories he created with those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
