Reese Edward Shavers, 58, passed away on July 21, 2025, in Mississippi. Born on January 24, 1967, in Wiggins to Herbert Gail and Mary Jane Shavers. Reese was known for his love of motorcycles and maintaining them with skill and precision. He spent his days in his beloved backyard, tinkering on various projects, and enjoying cookouts with his family. Reese was also known for his impressive collection of boxes and packages from Amazon, going as far as building his own amazon delivery box in his front yard. For thirteen years, he was a dedicated member of Warren Paving, where he worked as a truck driver dispatcher. He was more than just a reliable coworker and employee, he was family. Not only would he light up a room with his smile, but he would give you the shirt off his back. His kindness, generosity, and loving nature will be missed beyond measure. Reese is preceded by his mother, Mary Jane Parker. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, of twelve years, Tabitha Shavers; father, Gail (Jeannie) Shavers; children, Chad (Melissa) Shavers, Jonathan (Tiffany) Shavers, Colton (Falon) Shavers, Dylon (Liz) Shavers, and Jacob Bailey; brothers, Peanut (Laurie) and Micah; nine grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Trinity Funeral services in Mchenry from 2PM-4PM. Come celebrate the life of a wonderful man. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Shavers family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers for the days ahead.
