Refaat Said Abdalla

Refaat Said Abdalla, 74, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2025. Refaat was born on August 24, 1951 to Said Abdalla Said and Mary Tadrous Morgan in Port Said, Egypt. Refaat married Glenda Said-Abdalla on July 17, 1982, and they have spent a loving 43 years together. Refaat proudly served his country as an interpreter in Iraq for 3 and half years with the Department of Defense, earning himself a purple heart. After his time with the DOD, he became an independent trucker traveling across the country. When he wasn’t traveling for work, Refaat enjoyed spending time with his wife traveling. Their favorite place was Turner Falls in Oklahoma. Refaat was a beloved Husband, Brother and Uncle. His parents, Said and Mary, and brothers: Gamal Said and Nabil Said preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Glenda, siblings: Mrs. Blansh Said wife of the late Mr. Makram Ghaly, Dr. Eveleen Said, Mrs. Amal Said wife of the late Mr. Samy Sobhy, Dr. Evon Said wife of Rev. Basheer Anwar, Mrs. Rene Said wife of Mr. Magdy Fanous, Mr. Reda Said, and Mrs. Mona Said wife of Mr. Nagy Ghaly; nieces and nephews: Mrs. Heba Makram wife of Mr. Andrew Youssef, Mr. Kareem husband of Mrs. Heba Farouk, Mr. Amir Samy husband of Mrs. Marlene, Ms. Helen Basheer, Mr. Philip Basheer, Mrs. Magy Nagy wife of Mr. Michel Ramsis, Mrs. Nancy Magdy wife of Mr. Mina Tadros, Ms. Mera Nagy, and Nabil Reda; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
