MANTACHIE--Reggie D. Cox, 49, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born March 20, 1976 to the late Dennis Cox and Renell Anderson Harris in Ripley, MS. He was a member of Richmond Pentecostal Church. Reggie was known for his love of the outdoors and his adventurous spirit. He found joy in fishing, shooting, and riding his Harley. A passionate sports fan, he proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys, the Atlanta Braves, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Reggie also enjoyed collecting Jordans and Dub City cars, hobbies that reflected his unique style and appreciation for detail. Above all, Reggie cherished time spent with his family. His warmth, humor, and love for those around him will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Richmond Pentecostal Church, 108 CR 806, Tupelo, MS 38804, with Minister Bobby "Bo-Lee" Jackson, Bro. Ricky Pierce, Pastor Isacc Shinualt, and Pastor Stephen Traylor officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 14, at Richmond Pentecostal Church.

Reggie is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jessie Cox, of Mantachie; sons, Elijah (Ally) Cox of TN, Jacob Barnett, Josh Barnett and Dayday Cox, all of Mantachie; mother, Renell (Hugh) Harris, of Guntown; sisters, Kerry "Nene" Shelley of Booneville, and Keela (Antonio) Goodloe of South haven, MS; brothers, Micah Harris of Guntown, Patrick (Labrita) Miller of Booneville, and Shaun (Glenda) Crayton of Shannon,; nieces Kennedi "Bug" Shelley of Booneville; Imanic Goodloe, Kyla Goodloe, Zoee Goodloe all of Southaven; Nephew- Brayden Goodloe of Southaven; grandmother, Ophia Anderson of Booneville; God Mother, Elizabeth "Tiny" Young of Booneville; step mother, Deborah Cox of Ripley; in-laws, Ricky (Barbara) Dill; sister-in-law, Jackie "Tater" Dill, and host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Cox; grandfathers, Fred Anderson, and Willie Cox; grandmother, Jamie Storey; brother in law, Thomas "Peewee" Shelley; brother, Eric Harris; special cousin, Marvin Young; and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Roger Smith, Mike Agnew, Josh Mason, Jason McKinney, Roy Seger, and Elliott Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Agnew, Erik Yielding, Jeff Pace, Corey Doss, Richard Ewing Jr., and Reed Harris.
