Regina Gail Campbell

Regina Gail Campbell, age 60 of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Regina was born on March 1, 1963, in Nashville, TN to the late Orville DeWayne Campbell and Virginia Lorene Furlough Campbell. She is survived by siblings, Gary (Jeanie) Campbell, Hurley (Libby) Campbell, Lora (Kenny) Campbell, Sherry (Bud) Campbell, and many nieces and nephews.

Regina, or Gail as all her family called her, lit up the world with her smile and her contagious laugh. If you met Gail, she made you feel loved and welcomed and she gave the best hugs, even if she just met you. She was passionate about her animals, and saving as many as she could. Though she never had children of her own, you would never know that, and would hear her refer to “my daughters” or “my girls,” Jennifer, Chelsi and Kayla who are her nieces. She loved their babies and loved to spoil them all. She was the best aunt, allowing them to make the biggest messes if it meant putting a smile on their faces.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Gail will be laid to rest at Sweeney Cemetery in Pegram, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cheatham County Animal Control (SCAMP) in her memory.
