November 30th, 1968 in Pittsburg California Regina Reshell Payne Also known as Gina Tay came into this world and stole everyone’s heart.Born to Mother Irma Jones and Father Donald Payne Sr. Regina accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was baptized at the Church of Christ.
Growing up in Pittsburg Regina attended Village elementary,Followed by Central Jr High and finally Pittsburg Senior High School class of 1986. Regina worked as a passionate loving caretaker for the past 10 years serving those in her care. Regina loved spending time with her family and friends she knew no stranger she loved hosting family events to bring her loved ones together. Regina loved to sing Karaoke and most of the time adding her own words and flavor to each song she sang.Regina had a heart of platinum and a beautiful contagious smile that we will always cherish. Although Regina loved everyone she came in contact with and all of you are her favorite cousins,she kept her 7 children and 11 grandchildren the closest to her heart and was leading them to the lord.
October 17th, 2023 God called Regina home at the age of 54 Regina passed away peacefully in her sleep. Regina was preceded in death by her Grandparents Catherine and Frank Jones, Earn and Ida Payne, father Donald Payne Sr, uncle Craig Payne, Aunt Elana Jones and Daughter Brianna Walker.Regina first task in heaven was to prepare the palace for her first grandson Ke’Marion Tucker where she welcomed him with open arms.
Regina is survived by her Mother Irma Jones her loving devoted Children Keith Tucker Jr(Denee), Keitisha Tucker(Ceporia), Kevin Tucker(Marahda), Lavaughna Manuel, Caitelynne Payne, Wessaun Johnson, Kaaliyah Ward and 11 Grandchildren. She’s also survived by her Brothers Donald Payne Jr (Silena), Terrell Shelton(Gayla), Chevell Payne, Ricky Matlock Jr (Shaunaka). Also by a slew of Aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces and favorite cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 9:30am with a service at 10:30am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following at Oak View Memorial Park in Antioch.
