Regina "Pat" Powers, nee McCann, passed a way only a few weeks before her 100th birthday, loving wife of the late Richard J. "Dick" Powers; beloved mother of Patricia (Daniel) McKee, Kathleen (Patrick) Stack, Richard (Ingrid), Michael (Barbara) and the late Dennis; cherished grandma of Matthew and Michael McKee, Maura (Christian) Terrado, Julia (Albert) Nastase, Erin (Kevin) Porter, Richard (Jill), Sean and Ryan (Elizabeth) Stack, Kelly (Mark) Loudenslagel, Kara (Kristopher) Chin, Kristen (Kirk) Wolff, Dennis Powers, Michaela (Kyler) Juckins, Barrett and Alison Powers; devoted great-grandma of 16; dear sister of Mary Catherine (the late Thomas) Hohman and the late John (Catherine), Robert (Marian), James (Joan), Thomas and Marguerite McCann and dear sister-in-law of Catherine Powers Parker; fond aunt, great-aunt and great-great aunt of many; preceded in death by many members of the McCann and Powers families. Friends and family will meet for Visitation Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. at Saint Domitilla Catholic Church, 4940 Washington St., Hillside. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hephzibah, 1144 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL 60301 or the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, 10343 S Pulaski, Chicago, IL 60655.
