Regina E. Powers, a devoted mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in
Williamsburg, Virginia. Born on October 5, 1956, in New Jersey, Regina lived a life full of love and joy, surrounded by her cherished family and friends. She was 69 years old.
Throughout her life, Regina displayed an exceptional talent as a cake decorator, bringing sweetness and beauty into the lives of many through her work. Her artistic touch and attention to detail were celebrated by all who had the pleasure of experiencing her creations.
Regina's greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family and her faithful dog, Stella. An avid fan of the Mets, she cherished each moment spent cheering on her favorite team. Regina also found immense happiness in cooking for her family, embracing every opportunity to gather loved ones around the table. Her warmth and nurturing spirit made her the heart and soul of her home.
Her passions extended beyond the kitchen. Regina loved dancing and singing, often filling rooms with her infectious laughter and vibrant energy. She found peace and serenity in the simple pleasures of watching birds, appreciating the beauty of nature in her everyday life.
Regina was preceded in death by her father, William Jackson, her mother, Marcella Jackson, her sister, Patricia Bongornio, and her husband, James Powers. She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her sons, William Powers and Casey Powers; her sisters, Beverley Jackson and Marcia Bongornio; her daughter-in-law, Nicole Galanos; and many dear nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Regina's life will be held at Bucktrout Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating the wonderful life Regina led and the lasting legacy of love she leaves behind.
