Regina Redden Obituary
HINSDALE - Regina M. Redden, formerly of 3089 Route 16N, Hinsdale, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 8, 2022) at the Pines Healthcare and Rehab-ilitation Center in Olean.
Born April 26, 1930, in Darien, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Timm Myers. On May 23, 1953, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Darien Center, she married Eugene Redden, who predeceased her May 2, 2007.
Regina worked for 23 years for JC Penney as a sales associate.
She was a former parishioner of St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church in Hinsdale and then attended St. John's Church in Olean.
Regina loved gardening and being a stay-at-home mom. After retirement, she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by five children, Michael (Charlene) Redden of Olean, Robert (Kim) Redden of Rochester, David (Pam) Redden of Allegany, John (Elaine) Redden of Rochester and Mary (Jerry) Volz of Olean; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Sandra (Bill) Wolfley of Alexander; one brother-in-law, Bradley Stubinger; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Robert (Inez) Myers; and one sister, Sally Stubinger.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday (Nov. 11, 2022) at St. John's Church, 931 N. Union St., Olean. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Hinsdale Food Pantry, 3826 Main St., Hinsdale, NY 14743; or to the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department, 3832 Church St., Hinsdale, NY 14743.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean.

Mrs. Redden was one of my favorite customers. She was always very nice and we loved her visits to the garden center. I was able to see and speak with her again at the Pines when I visited my mother in law. I met her lovely daughter there as well. Heaven gained a angel and she will be tending to the flowers there. My condolences to her family.
