Regina D. Shanley (nee Cramer), 78, a lifelong resident of Williamstown and affectionately known as "Jeannie from Dr. Hingston's," peacefully passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Shanley. Devoted mother of Matthew Shanley and Heather (Robert) Fullerton. Dear sister of Peg Cramer. Predeceased by her parents Horace and Myrtle (nee Surran) Cramer, her brother William Cramer and her sisters Helen Hopkinson, Mildred Toll, Martha Biggs and Rachel Frie. Cherished daughter-in-law of the late James and Margaretta Shanley (nee Fox) and sister-in-law of James (Elise) Shanley and Donna (Tom) Barkow. Adored grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Loving mother-in-law of Brenda Shanley. Loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Jeannie was known for her kind spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She loved her family and friends deeply and unconditionally. She had a wit and sense of humor that brought joy to all those who knew her well. She cherished her many friendships and swore they "solved the world's problems" after every conversation. Jeannie was the steadfast caretaker and confidant to many. She spent her retirement years as the part-time secretary at First United Methodist Church of Williamstown and volunteered in many capacities to enrich the lives of others. There is no doubt that Jeannie is sitting in the presence of our Lord and Savior, continuing to care for us all as she did here on earth. She was enormously loved and will be incredibly missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings on Friday, October 3rd from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Sicklerville Church, 406 Church Rd., Sicklerville, NJ. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Brotherhood Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Williamstown, 159 S. Main St., Williamstown, NJ 08094.
