Regina Ruth Vaughn, who passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family's needs. Born on August 15, 1961, Regina's nurturing nature extended beyond her own household to touch the lives of those around her. Regina's love and kindness knew no bounds, and she found joy in simple pleasures like collecting rocks, coins, and searching for arrowheads. Her appreciation for the outdoors was evident in her green thumb and the way she tended to her garden with care and dedication. Her marriage to Claude Vaughn on July 2, 2008, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, marked a special chapter in her life where she found companionship and love. Regina will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved husband Claude Vaughn of the home, children, Brandy Gilmore of Oklahoma, Eriel Watson and husband Brad of Pryor, Oklahoma, Gabriel Vaughn and Jordyn of Pryor, Oklahoma, and John Claude Vaughn of Claremore, Oklahoma; brothers, Daryl Blanck and wife Debbie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Garland Joseph "Joe" Blanck of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Todd Blanck of Muskogee, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Douglas, Chloe, Theia, and Kamdynn; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Darlye and Patricia (Jackson) Blanck; son, Douglas Blanck, sister, Coleen Deen, and granddaughter, Madison Blanck. Regina's legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with Pastor Frank Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma with Bradley Watson, Jordyn Clark, Joe Blanck, Todd Blanck, Kenny Kvittum, and Tyler Murray serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor.
