Reginald "Chef" Bell
Reginald 63, known as Chef Bell, was born August 24,1959 in Galveston County, he made his entrance to Heaven
March 8, 2023.
Reginald was a US Army Veteran, where he became a professional Chef cooking all over the world. He got to travel all over the world thru his employment with TECO Transit and others.
He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan. He truly cherished the moments with his family while watching the games. In 1989 Reginald relocated his family to Brandon FL, where he joined St. John Cathedral under Bishop Eddie Newkirk,which later became Pastor Dwight Newkirk.
Reginald began to move in his Faith. He later became an Entrepreneur sharing his cooking skills by helping St John Cathedral
open a restaurant "The Open Cafe" cooking many dishes of soul food. In February 2021 he and his wife relocated back to Texas City, TX.
Reginald was living his best life doing some traveling and making great memories with Dianne and sisters-n-law.
Reginald is preceded in death by his mother Emma J Finley, his father Bobby Scott, brother Riley Bell, and his good friend
brother-n-law Jay Williams.
Reginald is survived by his faithful wife of 43 years Dianne, his 3 children Tameika Nelson of Lakeland FL, Zerrick Nelson, and Justin Bell of Atlanta GA, and 3 devoted friends.
His 5 granddaughters Brionna Jerry, Zhane Nelson of Tampa FL, Ja' Miah Reeves of Lakeland FL, London Nelson of Atlanta GA, MA2 Yasmin Range of US Navy of Norfolk, VA. 3 great grandchildren Suede, Zoya and Zeus of FL.
His 1 sister Sylvia (Robert) Mercy and 5 brothers Dennis (Lisa) Bruce (Bridgett) Robert (Katrina) Gary Bell and Bryan Ervin.
Also living to cherish his memories are his devoted in-laws a host of nieces and nephews, cousin and close friends.
