Reginald Braxton Obituary
At his request there will be no services.
Reg was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 12, 1955, to Reginald and Violet Thomas Braxton.
He was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer in which he had a long and courageous battle.
He never gave up HOPE and he loved all his infusion lab nurses at Wayne Memorial Hospital where he visited every week. One of the many things he enjoyed was texting his favorite memes.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Jarman Smith; precious children he loved, Stephanie, Steve and wife, Jamie, Dan and wife Nicki; those that called him PaPa Reg, MJ, Rylan, and Jared; sister, Theresa Allen and husband Eddie; aunts, Nicki Thomas, Ruth and husband Roy; uncle, Halford and wife Gail; his cat, Burger who was by his side everyday.
Reg is preceded in death by his parents.
The family and Burger ask that memorial contributions be made to Lucky Cats of Kinston, 20117 West Catawba Avenue, Cornelius, NC 28031.
