REGINALD "REGGIE" CARTER was born to the late Doris Carter Royster on November 25, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland. He transitioned from this earthly life on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at The Landings of Lake Gaston Nursing Home in Littleton, North Carolina.

Reggie and his sister, Patricia, relocated to Littleton, North Carolina, at a very young age and were raised by their grandparents, Gertrude and Robert Carter.

Reggie received his formal education in the Warren County Public School System. During his early life, he joined the Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Littleton, North Carolina. He was very active in his church and served on the Usher Board, as a member of the Adult Choir, the Male Chorus, and was also the President of the Male Chorus for a while. Reggie really loved his church and dedicated himself to its worship, work, and fellowship.

For many years, Reggie attended the Warren County Senior Center in Warrenton, North Carolina, participated in The Senior Olympics, and also shared in many of the other activities they offered. He enjoyed taking trips with them to such places as The State fair in Raleigh, North Carolina, and "The Spirit of Norfolk" in Norfolk, Virginia.

Reggie enjoyed attending church, singing, dancing, all types of sports, playing pool, The Senior Olympics, and spending time with family.

Those remaining to cherish the precious memories of his life and love are his sister, Patricia (Don), his niece, Shawn (James), two great-nieces, Alyasa and Tajah; two uncles, Freddie and Wayne (Barbara); and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends, including his special friend, Gwendolyn Rankin.

An initial viewing and visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home, 215 US Highway 158, in Littleton, North Carolina. The final viewing will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service time at the Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 915 Eaton Ferry Road, Littleton, NC. The Pastor, Rev. Charles E. Walton, will deliver the message of comfort, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Condolences to Patricia and the Carter family. It was a joy to know and worship with Reggie. He always had such a zeal for singing and working with the ushers and choirs. Reggie will surely be missed but now we know he can sing and worship with the Hevenly Host.

My prayers go out to the Carter Family from the Alston Family. I met Reggie prior to the Covid years at the Senior Center in Warrenton. We participated in the Senior Games, played pool and even pitched horseshoes. When I observed him dancing, I was amazed, and said man, you can really move, he chuckled. In ministry at Warren Hills, I would see him from time to time during his stays. I considered Reggie a friend.
