Reginald B. Durham, age 68, passed away on September 10, 2025. Reginald was born to Solomon and Mary L. Terrell on July 2, 1957, in
Corpus Christi, Texas. He was affectionately known as "Chub" or "Big Reg", He accepted Christ at a young age under the leadership of the late Dr. H.C. Dilworth, Jr. at Calvary First Baptist Church. He continued his spiritual work with the Lord under the leadership of our current pastor C.E. Richardson, Sr.
Reginald graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in 1975. He continued his education attending Texas A&I University Kingsville, where he received his master's in engineering. Reginald served as a supervisor at TXDOT for many years where he received numerous rewards for being a studious employee. In his free time, Reginald enjoyed traveling, playing dominos, wrestling, and was an avid Raiders football fan. He will always be remembered for his big Kool-Aid smile. Reginald was a loving father, son, brother, and cousin.
Reginald Durham is preceded in death by his biological father Rev. Jeff Durham, parents Solomon L. Terrell Sr. and Mary Hastings Terrell, his precious grandmother Ruth Ella Haston, daughters Melody and LaCresha Durham, and his brothers Clarence Hastings Sr. and Solomon L. Terrell Jr.
Reginald leaves to cherish his legacy, his son Marcus Ashton Durham, brother Bryant A. Terrell (Tony) and wife Lisa, sister Imarylis L. Terrell, sister-in-law Diana Hastings, nieces and nephews Amanda, Clarence Jr., JoAnn Hastings, LaMar Bryant, Randall (Alexis) Terrell, Amber Terrell, Iemerhylis L. Thompson (Madison), and Joseph A. Wharton III, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Calvary First Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. that same morning.
