Rena Langford Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Rena Price Langford will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Pratt officiating. Interment will be at the Bryan Cemetery in Shop Springs. Visitation Wednesday 3-7 PM and Thursday after 10 AM.
Mrs. Langford, age 83 of Lebanon passed away March 29, 2026, at the Pavilion.
Born March 20, 1943, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Clyde N. Price and Bessie Irene Parker Price. She taught Kindergarten at Immanuel Baptist Church for many years, and later worked at CNA Insurance Company and Thomas Nelson Publishers. She was a very active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she served as pianist and organist for forty years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Don Price and Howard Price; and a brother in law, Bill Ellis.
She is survived by her husband of over sixty three years, Joe Langford; four children: Ken (Patricia) Langford; Scott (Paula) Langford; David (Cydney) Langford; and Cheryl Barrett; grandchildren: Aaron Langford, Zachary (Claire) Langford, Taylor Langford, Cole (Erin) Langford, Jennie (Matt) Bell, Charles Langford, Alex Langford, and Katlyn Barrett; sister, Marilyn Ellis; brother, Bro. Carl (Mary Lena) Price; and sisters in law, Faye Price and Hilda Price.
