Renate Walker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home & Crematory - Treasure Coast Chapel on May 16, 2025.
Renate Walker, 69, passed away peacefully at home in Palm Beach Gardens on May 12, 2025 after a courageous 7-year battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana and friend. Her unconditional love, laughter and fun-loving spirit will carry on through the people who loved her.
Renate was born in Karlsruhe, Germany on May 30,1955 and moved to Lake Worth, FL with her adopted parents around 1 yr old. She was especially close with her adopted Dad, Donald Barton, who taught Renate a love of the ocean and fishing and affectionately named his little boat RENATE.
During her career, Renate worked as a Real Estate Closer for many years in the Palm Beach County area building lasting professional relationships for her attention to detail and industry knowledge. She loved what she did, and her door was always open to offer advice or just talk about whatever.
In her spare time, Renate spoiled her 4-legged babies and lovingly bickered with the love of her life, Trent. She enjoyed shopping, attending University of Miami football games, going on Disney vacations and going out to any new restaurant for Happy Hour. Her kids were her whole world and she spent many years as their biggest cheerleader at numerous softball, tennis, golf, soccer and football games. She found a new soft spot later in her life for being the best Nana Banana and would show pictures of her grandbabies to anyone who would indulge her.
Renate is survived by her husband, Trent Walker, her daughter Megan Peterson (Brian), her son Albert Kozar III (Linsey), her grandkids Charlotte, Ella & Ava Peterson and Carter Kozar, and her bulldogs Stanley & CC.
Renate would have turned 70 years young on May 30th.
A celebration of life will be held on May 29th from 6-8pm, to honor her milestone birthday and a final cheers to the amazing life she lived. Please join us at Seasons 52, 2nd Floor, 11611 Ellison Wilson Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL
