Alberta Irene Presensky

Alberta Irene Presensky (Rzewnicki), age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Stuart, Florida. A longtime resident of Florida, Alberta moved there from Ypsilanti, Michigan, in the 1980s. She was born and raised in East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, where she met her husband, John S. Presensky, who preceded her in death in 1989.

Alberta was an avid University of Michigan football fan and a zealous bingo player until the end of her life. She also enjoyed playing tennis and was active in St. John's Church while living in Michigan.

She is survived by her children, Bernadette Russell (Ron), John Presensky (Kay), Michael Presensky (Jennifer), and Charlotte Presensky (Grace); and her grandchildren, Erin Madden, Matt Presensky, Phillip Presensky, and Jay Presensky, all of whom will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary M. Wagner. Alberta is survived by her sister, Gertrude Pancoe; her brother, Floyd Rzewnicki; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, FL 34957, followed by burial beside her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, Florida.
