Renea Elaine Davis, beloved mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on October 23, 1957, Renea was a vibrant soul known for her unwavering social spirit. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Throughout her life, Renea found joy in organizing euchre tournaments at the VFW and was an active member of the VFW 9090 Auxiliary and the American Legion 222 Auxiliary. She worked diligently at Hull Pottery and Ballas Egg for many years, making lasting impressions in her community. Known as the Avon lady everyone loved, Renea was a familiar and friendly face to many.
A member of First Hope United Methodist Church, Renea's faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her actions with kindness and compassion. Her social nature and unwavering love for her family endeared her to all who knew her.
Renea’s Family was the center of her world, and she leaves behind her love and strength to each one of them. She is survived by her son, Brandon (Britany Tobias) Wood, her sister, Rhonda Beniker, her brothers, Randy Tatman and Rod Tatman, and her grandchild Elliot Wood.
Renea was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Dolores (Karr) Tatman and her sister-in-law, Sharon Tatman.
Renea's presence will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and community spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, from 1-3:00 PM and 5-7:00 PM, at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Following funeral services, Renea will be cremated and buried in Crooksville Cemetery.
