Renee Stephens Caire October 5, 1956 May 8, 2024 Renee was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in Metairie, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Audrey Lentz Stephens, her Father, John E. Renee attended Tiny Tot Kindergarten, Bridgedale Elementary School,Mid City Baptist School, and Archbishop Chapelle High School, where she was a member of The Class Of 1974. She attended Soule Business College, worked for a small law firm, and then worked at the D.H. Holmes "flagship" Department Store on Canal Street in the President's office. After leaving D.H. Holmes she attended classes at Tulane University and worked in the Biomedical Engineering Department. She transferred to The Tulane University Medical Center, where she worked in the orthopedic department until she was offered an office position at Dr. Gordon Nutik's office. On February 12, 1982, she married Robert David Caire, and resided in Metairie, Louisiana until May of 1985. Renee was a resident of Sacramento, California until her passing, and will be missed by her husband, Robert, and many in both California and Louisiana.
Written by a friend I've known since 6th grade.
Robert and Renee married and took a vow that what God had tied together man must not separate.
They took that promise seriously which is one of the things that made their marriage so great.
They thought of separating never entered their mind.
A love like theirs you could hardly ever find.
The respect they had for each other was easy to see,
Which was always present wherever they might be.
Laughter, another ingredient that made their marriage such a success,
Always finding a way to make each other smile settling for nothing less.
There was always a twinkle in each others eyes,
Displaying an everlasting love they could not disguise.
But the most important aspect of this marriage that will live on forever and never end,
Is that they were truly in love and each other's Best Friend.
Renee, the love of Roberts life,
An extraordinary woman who became his wife.
An Angel sent from Heaven above,
Robert's Soulmate and his forever True Love.
God has chosen to bring her home,
But Robert will never be alone.
He has so many memories they made together,
That he can cherish and will remember forever.
There will come a day in Heaven when they are in each other's arms once again,
Completing God's plan of how this Love Story will eventually end.
