Obituary of Renee Marie Hicks
Renee passed away in her home on February 21,2022 in Rotonda West FL. Renee was born on July 29th,1964 to Mary Lacono and Richard Ballard in Detroit MI. She graduated from Farmington Hills High School. She met her husband while they both worked at Farmer Jack's Super Market. Renee Married the love of her life, Rick Hicks, on February 13th, 1988. They had their only daughter Brooke Ashley Hicks, on December 11th, 1987. Then their son Bret Anthony Hicks on April 19th, 1989. Renee and Rick moved the family to Englewood FL in 1992. Renee retired from Prime Time Steak and Spirits. Where she was a bartender as well as a night time manager. Renee was a loving mother and wife. Who enjoyed walks on the beach, hanging with family and friends by the pool and entertaining friends and family by cooking dinners, and especially being a care taker to her amazing mother-in-law Christine Hicks. Renee enjoyed donating her time to muscular Dystrophy charities, due to her son being diagnosed in 1994. Renee is survived by her loving husband, Rick Hicks, her daughter Brooke Hicks (Easton), Son in law Kevin Easton, and her 2 granddaughters, who she devoted her time to Skyler Hicks (Easton and Riya Hicks (Easton) Renee had a huge heart and would never judge. She loved helping anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is proceeded in death by her mother and father. Her son Bret Hicks and mother and father in law.
