Renee Pate Obituary
Renee was born on December 20, 1957 to predecessors Harry Pate and Willie Antoinette Brooks (siblings; Bruce, Harry & Gerald). She attended Louise A. Spencer, Central High School and later gained an Associate Degree in Business from Essex County College.
Renee is survived by her son Robert Pate, daughter Adriana Pate, grandson Carter Pate, devoted partner Robert Grimsley Juanita & Jacquline), sisters Yvonne Nevius (John Smith) & Robin Pate; nieces Tahesha (Saadat), LaSonya, Maria; nephew Floyd (Crystal) and first cousin Vernetta. As well as, a host of extended family members.
Renee enjoyed life to the fullest. Whenever she would talk, you would listen, because she would offer wisdom from her life experiences, straight up; no filter needed. Renee was a kind and passionate spirit. One thing for sure, she didn't play about her hair.
So, as her health declined; She would often say "That's LIFE" and would live by that, very phrase. Renee's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her, understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.
Mommy you will be missed more than any words could express; Renee will be forever in our hearts till we meet again.
