Services will be held on Friday May 3rd at the Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 100 Lucas Avenue, Kingston.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM.
Burial to follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
Renelle B. Céladon of Franklin Street Kingston passed away on Sunday April 21, 2024.Renelle was born on July 15, 1931 in Thomonde, Haïti.
Renelle had a career teaching in public administration in Haïti. Following the death of her husband, she rolled up her sleeves to raise her children. She trusted God in all circumstances despite the trials that came her way. Her faith in God was unshakeable.
Surviving are her children Paul Arthur Edgir Céladon, Rose-Michel Céladon (Jean-Frérot Lubin) and Louis Archy Céladon. Her grandchildren Rose-Ginny Lubin (Jean-Ebel Jr Valery), Jean-Michel Lubin, Paul Louis Céladon, Joandino Edgir Céladon, Andgy Céladon and Shesly Céladon.
Her four great grandchildren. Her sisters Freda Bosquet, Marie-Ange Bosquet, Jeanine B. Leclerc and Claudette Bosquet. The apple of her eye, Marie-Josée Clodomir. Martha Etienne, whom she considered like a daughter. Countless cousins, nieces and nephews survive, as well as the members of her Mid-Hudson SDA church family.
Renelle is predeceased by her husband Paul Arthur Céladon and her siblings Yolande and Vilhardouin Bosquet.
