Resin Cass Spell, 92, of Moultrie, GA., died Monday, April 8, 2024. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Carl Felts and Rev. Danny Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00pm until 1:00 pm and immediately process to the cemetery.
Born in Uvalda, GA. Mr. Spell was a veteran and served his country in the United States Army. He was employed with Firestone Tire and Rubber Company for over nineteen years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Americus, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Lee and Lizzie Sellers Spell, wives Elizabeth Ellen Spell (Mother of Children) and Novella Reynolds Spell, a son Randy Carl Spell, a son-in-law, Michael Lee Cox, his sisters, Beaula West, Mary Hall and Nell Carr, and his brothers, Framp Melton, Benny Melton and James “Buddy” McDaniels.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Spell Cox of Moultrie, GA, his sons Eddie Lee Spell (Peggy) of Youngstown, FL, and Timothy Wayne Spell (Patti) of Spanish Fort, AL, his stepdaughters Judy T Cory (Andy) of Shreveport, LA, and Jackie Bellany of VA, his grandchildren, Stephanie S. Trotter (Matthew) of Lawrenceville, GA, Ryan C. Spell (Olivia) of Smithfield, NC, Cassie S. Mullins (Burley) of Sugar Hill, GA, Joshua Spell, Jake Spell both of Spanish Fort, AL, Kaylee C. Croft (John), Carrie C. McDuffie (John) both of Moultrie, GA, and Jacob Spell of Youngstown, FL, his great grandchildren, Marritt Trotter, Mattie Trotter, Mattox Trotter all of Lawrenceville, GA, Robbie Spell, Addie Jo Spell, both of Smithville, NC, Loralei McDuffie, John McDuffie, V., Sofia McDuffie and Jackson L. Croft all of Moultrie, GA.
