Former Mr. World, Mr. Pennsylvania, and Mr. Pittsburgh, Rev. Ronald B. Cuspard, 86, of Rochester (formerly of Ellwood City) passed to his heavenly reward at the right hand of God on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born August 26, 1937 in Ambridge, he was the son of the late Ronald B. Cuspard and Ruth Nadine Anderson.
Ron worked at the Townsend Company in Fallston, then at the B&W in Koppel and Ambridge. A man of faith, Ron was affiliated with many churches throughout the Beaver Valley. He won numerous competitions as a body builder. Some of his interests other than body building, were fishing, watching baseball, and the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, he loved the Lord and his family.
Survivors include his son, Ronald "Buddy" (Holly) Cuspard Jr. of Chippewa; two daughters, Judithe Cuspard of Ambridge and Tracey Cuspard of Austin, TX; brother, Michael (Denise) Anderson of Virginia; four grandchildren, Kyle McDaniels, Telia, Christian and Benton Cuspard, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Jackson Cuspard in 2005; his second wife Mary M. Cuspard in 2019; son, Daniel Maurice Cuspard; two brothers, Lani-Ray and Duane, and his sister Michelle Anderson Matthews.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday July 28, 2024 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Jimmie Johnson will officiate.
Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
